I also often forget what I learned in my Duolingo lessons and have to start over.
But if you don’t know how to go back to previous lessons on Duolingo, don’t worry. I’m here to help you In this blog post, I’ll show you how to do it. So let’s get started.
Can I go back to a specific level in Duolingo?
If you want to go back to a specific level on Duolingo, let me tell you that there is no direct “back” button to go back to lessons on Duolingo.
However, after a lot of research, I found the two best ways to go back to previous lessons on Duolingo.
- Using Section
- Reset Your Course
1: Using Section
It is the best way to go back to previous lessons on Duolingo. Here are the steps to use it:
1. First, open the “Duolingo app” on your smartphone.
2. Now you will see the “Section” option at the top of the app, tap on it.
3. After that, here you will see all your previously completed lessons, just “select the lesson” you want to Re-learn.
2: Reset Your Course
Resetting your course is another good option to relearn your lessons. Here are the steps to Reset your course:
1. First, open the “Duolingo app” and Then tap on the “profile icon“.
2. Now tap on the “Settings” icon and then tap on the “Course” option in the menu.
3. Here you will see your current language course, tap on it, then tap the “Remove” button to confirm.
4. Finally go to the home and tap the “plus” icon at the top then choose this language again from the list and start Re-learning it.

HI, Robin Yescalsik
Thanks for your comment! If you can’t access previous lessons on Duolingo, then try clearing the cache (for Android) or reinstalling the app (for iOS). This might fix the issue.
